Recorded and mixed October 2009 at Studio Fleisch
Edited and remastered January 2021 by DJM

This version was edited for vinyl from the original 79 min version.
Because of heavy phasing problems of the original version, which could not be reproduced on vinyl, this version was not remixed but became a special treatment by mastering 2 mono sources of the original mix. This resulted in a 1960s style stereo sound. It's the same mix, but sounds different.

The bonus track, the "lost part" is a 2021 mix, as it was not mixed in 2009. It was performed the same night as the other tracks, between part 3 and 4.

it's simply put anything a krautrock fan could hope for. It's a little masterpiece and 'Passage' is a little masterpiece within it. I'm getting strong Blade Runner vibes here and anything that gives me Blade Runner vibes is a winner. The fact that this band is not bigger is a crime. spaceistheplace82

This is kind of a monolithic album imho, yet somehow it's OSJC's most approachable album (that I've heard so far, I guess). I say that as a person who initially balked at the runtimes - I'm a "brevity is the soul of wit" kinda guy. That said, these jams are absolutely first-class. You do not feel the length at all, they're more like soundtracks to an inner movie. Soft Velvet Underbelly makes me wish I still played Elite: Dangerous, so I could commit space piracy to it. Has a great coda, too. Smekermann
